"Documenting Architecture" will emphasize the development of individual freehand sketch techniques for representation of ideas, analysis, and design concepts. The sketchbook will be used as a recording device. The primary sketches will utilize a variety of media such as graphite, ink, and colored pencils for accent and further defining of building materials and texture. Students will take advantage of the unique architectural resources of San Luis Obispo and neighboring communities along the central coast of California.
