Job Description
Studio Design Group (SDG) is a full-service architecture firm seeking a qualified individual for a Project Manager position in our office. Since 1981, our team of architects has developed a reputation for superior design and long term customer relationships in the health care, hospitality and commercial sectors, with an emphasis on OSHPD 1 hospital work. Located in downtown San Luis Obispo, SDG has a present staff of nine talented individuals and are recognized for creating buildings and environments that enrich people's daily experiences.
We are a Mac-based office using Vectorworks 2016. The ideal candidate will have experience with Vectorworks though training will be provided for otherwise qualified candidates. This is a full-time position.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Architecture license preferred but not required
- Minimum 4+ years of experience designing commercial, residential and healthcare projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willing to work collaboratively with project team
- Proficient with Vectorworks, Sketchup and Microsoft Office
- Ability to develop design intent into quality construction documents.
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements.
