Job Description
Green Building Architects is a small, full service, architectural firm with a strong emphasis on sustainable design. We have an excellent local reputation for new residential projects and historic rehabilitation. We are currently seeking full-time candidates for a project manager position offering competitive compensation. Interested parties should submit a cover letter, resume, and portfolio (including 3-5 work samples showing CAD proficiency, maximum size of 5 MB).
POSITION SUMMARY:
- 3 to 5 years minimum experience
- Strong design abilities
- Produce construction drawings
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Assist principal in all phases
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Architectural degree
- Proficiency in current AutoCAD
- Experience preparing construction documents
- Proficiency in Sketch-Up
- Working knowledge of CA Residential Building Code
- Ability to sketch, develop design studies, and complete graphic illustrations
- Good team collaboration, people skills, and strong communication and time management skills
- Detail, deadline, and multi-task oriented
- Legal authorization to work in the USA
