Through my time developing my design skills, I've constantly come back to the question, "What can this design do for a community and an individual?" As the years have gone by, while my designs have become more multifaceted, the same core theme always seems to emerge: good design should foster community and interaction, while giving each person a person and expressive experience. People are not one ideal or controlled variable but vastly different, and my designs attempt to treat them as such. I've explored how a variation of spaces, materiality, form, and structure can be flexible and provide different users opportunities for personally engaging and feeling represented.
