Thinking of everything as a system, rather than part of a whole, reveals intricacies that can be implemented into a project and the interactions occurring between them, from the physical to the metaphysical relationships, is key to a successful outcome. The resulting conglomeration can act as a precedent for design. This method also allows unanswerable social, ethical, and political questions to arise, however, recognizing that they are there is preferable to not knowing. For me, this approach leads to many iterative studies that attempt to represent the many interactions in different ways. This sticky mess of interactionjs has a multitude of solutions which I strive to better navigate in my future designs.
