Job Description
Award-winning Southern California architectural firm specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial planning, design, and construction is currently seeking a Job Captain - Architect - Oxnard.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED:
- Architectural degree from accredited program
- Five years in the architecture profession
- Prepare construction documents
- Experience with project management
- Coordinate with consultants
- Experience with agency coordination and permit processing
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Attend project meetings
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of applicable California building codes
- Experience with commercial and industrial projects
- Proficient in Sketchup
- Experience with construction administration
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and verbal skills, fluency, and grammar
- Strong organizational skills; ability to perform duties at other than normal working hours and days as required by projects or tasks
- Team player with positive attitude
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible
- Work well under deadline situations
