Job Summary
SLO based residential development firm seeks drafter with architectural and/or civil drafting experience for full-time position. Castlerock Development is a building company headquartered in San Luis Obispo, California specializing in the construction of new home communities. Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in residential and/or land development design
- AutoCAD Architecture 2021 and/or Civil3D experience is required
- Revit experience is a significant plus
- Knowledge of construction practices
- GPS machine control modeling experience is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and promptly
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
- Dependable, well-organied, collaborative, and precise
- Take initiative and be a strong communicator
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Site analysis and evaluation
- Develop design concepts for residential development
- Preparation of plans and specifications
- Coordinate and complete project design submittals for permitting
- Coordinate with outside consultants
- Project management -- respond to RFI's and project changes
