Congratulations Graduates! As you finish your final projects, papers and exams don't forget about the Commencement Ceremony celebrating all the hard work you put into earning your degree.

Below you will find important information regarding the Commencement Ceremony events. You will also find important links directing you to information on parking, disabled shuttle routes and times, and so much more!

This has been a remarkable year for our Architecture Department and our students. We want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and congratulate this year’s scholarship and senior award winners, along with the celebration of our 2015 graduates.

We invite you and your family to join us in this Pre-Commencement and Awards Celebration on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 2:00PM – 5:00PM in the Architecture Stair Court, located on the ground floor of the Architecture & Environmental Design Building (Bldg 05).

Light appetizers and beverages will be provided. We sincerely hope that you will join your colleagues and faculty members to mark this very special moment in your life.

Graduates, please use your email invitation to RSVP by May 20, 2015 and forward the information along to your family and friends. A limit of 10 guests are allowed per graduate.

Main Commencement Information

Saturday, June 13, 2015
9:00AM, Spanos Stadium

We encourage you to visit the University Commencement page to get all the information you will need to attend the Main Commencement Ceremony on June 13, 2015 at 9:00AM that will be held in Spanos Stadium.

 

Helpful Information:

  • All commencement ceremonies take place outdoors so please be prepared for any and all types of weather.
  • Professional conduct is expected at all times.
  • Seating is first come, first served.
  • No tickets are required.
  • Parking is first come, first served and can be far from ceremony locations.
  • Please wear comfortable shoes.
  • Resources for guests and specific information for guests with disabilities can be found on the Commencement FAQ page.
  • Lots for parking and specific disability parking can be viewed by clicking on this parking map link.
  • Traffic congestion can be heavy. Please allow one hour to exit the highway, park, and walk to Spanos stadium. Shuttles are available for disabled persons only and are limited.

Architecture Department
Commencement Information

Saturday, JUNE 13, 2015
11:00am - 12:30PM
Performing Arts Center (PAC) Harmon Hall & Lobby

This is a more personalize ceremony where students will be called by name. Department heads and faculty will be present. 

  • 10:00AM - PAC doors open
  • 10:45AM - Graduates must be in the PAC Pavilion Room
  • 11:00AM - Architecture Department Commencement Ceremony at the PAC Harmon Hall begins

Graduates, please use your email invitation to RSVP by May 24, 2015 and forward the information along to your family and friends. A limit of 10 guests are allowed per graduate.

If you or a member of your party needs handicap accommodations, notify the Architecture Department before June 1. Please send an email to architecture@calpoly.edu with the following information:

  • Name of person requesting a reserved space
  • Number of adjacent seats to be saved
  • Type of need (wheelchair space, walker storage, assisted listening devices, etc.)
